Christian Perez
Data Analyst
Christian’s technical and professional experience originates from the field of physics. While obtaining a bachelor’s degree in physics and a minor in computer science from Kennesaw State University, he maintained multiple research positions in faculty lead groups and national laboratories, presented his findings at several conferences, and co-authored a publication in a scientific journal. This research often required knowledge of complex computer programming techniques, distributed computing, mathematical models, and strong analytical skills.
Christian has analyzed data sets from self-built Monte-Carlo simulations that contained over 3.2 billion entries using Linux based high-performance computing clusters. He has experience in coding languages such as C++, Java, Python and Fortran and multiple data visualization programs like ROOT, Gnuplot, and Matplotlib.
He joined Griffin & Strong, P.C. as an intern during his undergraduate study, and quickly became passionate about applying modern computational scientific methods to the team’s disparity studies and is now a full-time member.
